Background

A local therapy and cupping centre approached me with almost no digital presence. They had no website, no citation portfolio, no content strategy, and a poorly configured Google Business Profile. Search visibility was extremely low, and the client depended fully on walk-ins and referrals.

Because the owner could not support website development or citation building, I focused entirely on GBP optimization and local intent signals to generate early rankings and calls.

Actions Taken

1. Full Google Business Profile Optimization

Rebuilt the GBP from scratch with accurate categories, a strong business description, optimized services, WhatsApp booking link, and clean service-area targeting. Removed unnecessary elements to avoid category dilutions.

2. Local Keyword Relevance Building

Integrated location + service keywords naturally through GBP description, services, photos, and weekly posts—without over-optimization or triggering filters.

3. Custom Visual & Brand Improvements

Uploaded real photos, interior/exterior images, branded visuals, and geo-relevant surroundings to improve trust signals and engagement.

4. Review Acquisition System

Provided templates to the owner, guided review velocity, and ensured each review received a meaningful response to boost behavioural relevance.

5. Posting Strategy for Discovery Searches

Created intent-driven posts around therapy, cupping benefits, pain relief, and local problems, which improved discovery visibility and click-through rates.

Why This Case Matters
